Brawl Didn’t Infuriate Domi, Fine Does
Toronto’s Tie Domi was upset Wednesday after drawing a $1,000 NHL fine for his part in a brawl Sunday against Philadelphia that involved goalies Felix Potvin and Ron Hextall, who skated the length of the ice to clash with Potvin. Both teams were fined $5,000, Philadelphia’s Scott Daniels was also fined.
“Now it’s clear there’s NHL rules and there’s Tie Domi rules,” said Domi, who was sent on the ice for Wendel Clark as the ruckus started. “I can’t believe I got fined and Ron Hextall got nothing.”
