Alemany 31, Crespi 30--Miguel Fletcher rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns in 28 carries as the Indians (1-9, 1-4) avoided a winless season.

Fletcher, a junior tailback, scored on a runs of 91, four and 63 yards. His last touchdown and a 28-yard field goal by Eddy Cicoria gave Alemany a 31-14 lead midway through the third quarter.

Crespi (3-7, 0-5) rallied behind receiver Dennis Fox, who caught touchdowns on passes of 70 and 61 yards from Nick Rita to pull the Celts within 31-28 with 3:11 to play in the third quarter. Rita completed 20 of 42 for 438 yards and three touchdowns. Fox had eight receptions for 207 yards.

Crespi drove to the Alemany 30 with less than a minute to play, but turned the ball over on downs after Rita threw three consecutive incomplete passes.

Cicoria, the Alemany punter, ran out the back of the end zone for a safety on fourth down with three seconds to play.
