Pasadena Poly 12, Flintridge Prep 7--Ryan Haden, son of former USC and NFL quarterback Pat Haden, returned an interception 13 yards for the go-ahead touchdown late in the third quarter as the Panthers (5-2, 3-1) clinched at least a share of the league title at Pasadena Poly.

Flintridge Prep (5-4, 2-2), which fell into third place, scored when Matt Linder returned the opening kickoff 93 yards.

Pasadena Poly was led by running back Mike Glover, who rushed for 91 yards in 17 carries and scored his team’s first touchdown on a one-yard run midway through the third quarter.

The Rebels put themselves in a hole on their next possession when Evan Cablayan slipped at his one-yard line on the ensuing kickoff. Four plays later, Haden scored on his interception.

Flintridge Prep out-gained Pasadena Poly, 158-147, but was hurt by two turnovers in the second half, both of which led to scores.
