Signal Will Be Put Up Where Car Hit Boy
A traffic signal soon will be erected at Orangethorpe Avenue and Pacific Drive, where an 8-year-old boy was struck by a car and critically injured in October.
The boy, Cameron Schade, still is recovering from his injuries, family members said.
Schade’s family and friends and the Fullerton School District urged the city to install the signal after the Orangethorpe Elementary School student was hit.
City Council members recently gave unanimous approval for the light, which is expected to go up this month.
