Bjork is set to release "Telegram," an album of entirely new versions of the songs from her last album, "Post," in the U.S. on Jan. 14. Meanwhile the Icelandic imp is getting ready to start work in Spain on an album of new material. . . .

Nanci Griffith is working on two new albums--a regular set produced by Don Gehman (Hootie & the Blowfish, John Mellencamp), due in the spring, and a sequel to her 1993 guest-star-laden folk tribute "Other Voices, Other Rooms." Among the tracks recorded so far is a family-affair session featuring not only Emmylou Harris and Carolyn Hester, but their daughters as well.
