Families of Car Crash Victims Appeal for Aid

Family members of three teenagers and a baby boy who were killed in a Thanksgiving weekend auto accident in Eagle Rock joined police Monday in asking the public for donations to help defray burial and hospital costs.

Jerry Romero, 19, Emma Rodriguez, 19, Ana Lisa Rodriguez, 16, and her 3-month-old son Alejandro Cazarez, were killed shortly after 10 p.m. on Nov. 30 when their car veered out of control and crashed into a tree, officials said.

Also injured in the accident were Oscar Olivares, 14, who is related to the Romero family, and Rosemary De La Rosa. Both remain at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, police said.
