Play Site Plans Job Fair for Part-Timers

Wanted: Part-time employees for an “imagination-powered play site” in Thousand Oaks. Must love overly excited youngsters, fast food and large, glove-wearing, squeaky-voiced rodents.

Club Disney will be holding a job fair next week to fill a number of part-time jobs. The recreation-for-a-fee center--think Discovery Zone crossed with Disneyland and add a dose of art, science and cyberspace--is expected to open in February at The Promenade at Westlake, the new shopping center at Westlake and Thousand Oaks boulevards.

Among the activities to be offered are climbing, painting, surfing the Internet and role playing in costumes.

Interested applicants are asked to call 777-8000 to make an appointment for the job fair, which will run 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the Westlake Village Inn, 32001 Agoura Road, Westlake Village.
