Long Beach State ended its two-game losing streak, and won for only the third time in 11 games, with a 68-59 victory over UC Santa Barbara on Thursday at the Pyramid. With a victory tonight the 49ers will tie the Mustangs for second place in the Western Division. After winning their first three conference games, the Mustangs have lost two in a row.
