Guard Brent Barry, who sat out the last two games because of a sprained left ankle, was in uniform for the first time in three games.

“Barry’s ankle is still tender, so it would take a special deal for us to use him,” Coach Bill Fitch said before the game.

No special deal. Barry didn’t play.

“I’d love to play there, but it’s hard to comment on something that ain’t here or there,” Mullin said before Saturday’s game. “Rumor is rumor, but I’d fit in well there.”
