The FBI is looking for a serial robber who held up a Camarillo bank Wednesday morning.

The man is also believed to have robbed a bank Tuesday night in Marina del Rey and two other banks since Dec. 30, said Special Agent Gary Auer, who supervises the Ventura office of the FBI.

Wearing a gray long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans, the man entered Coast Federal Bank at 5291 Mission Oaks Blvd. in Camarillo just before noon Wednesday and handed a note to a teller, Auer said.

The note demanded that the teller hand over cash. Though there were customers in the bank, no one else was threatened.

After the teller handed the robber an undisclosed amount of cash, he left the bank and was last seen walking swiftly through the bank parking lot.

He is described by witnesses as white, in his 30s, with light brown hair and a mustache, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing 170 pounds.

Investigators believe the suspect also robbed a World Savings Bank branch on East Thompson Boulevard in Ventura on Jan. 16, and the Camarillo Community Bank branch in Westlake Village on Dec. 31. Wednesday’s was the county’s seventh bank robbery this year, Auer said.
