Petit and Brashear Earn Suspensions

Philadelphia Flyer defenseman Michel Petit and Vancouver Canuck left wing Donald Brashear were each suspended pending hearings.
Petit was suspended for kneeing Florida Panther left wing Johan Garpenlov. Brashear was suspended for delivering a blind-side punch to King center Ian Laperriere.
