Hillary’s Grammy
Re “Babyface, Clapton and Hillary?” Feb. 27:
Our president and his wife are symbols par excellence of America’s split attitude. Hillary Clinton writes “It Takes A Village” and Bill signs a “reform bill” that eliminates the guarantee that every child has the right to shelter and food, and eliminates these things behind that controversial argument of balancing the budget.
Wake up, America, the entitlement funds do not go down a black hole. They go to human beings, paying hospital bills through Medicare and rent through Social Security and, until recently, welfare recipients. This attitude is insidious and immoral and we will all be worse off for it.
