Seniors Christian Dunbar and Brian Capella of Cal Lutheran have been named to the All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball team.

Dunbar, a 6-foot guard, was a first-team selection after averaging 12.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Capella, a 6-5 swingman, was named to the second team after averaging 13.2 points and 5.4 rebounds.

* Paraclete forward Lisa Ament has been named player of the year in High Desert League girls’ soccer.

Ament, a junior, scored 35 goals, helping the Spirits to the league title and the Southern Section Division IV quarterfinals.

* Fillmore defender Luis Abrego has been named player of the year in Tri-Valley League boys’ soccer.

Abrego, a sweeper, helped the Flashes to the league title and the Southern Section Division IV playoffs.
