WHO TO WATCH: Top-seeded Hamilton, champion of the South/West League is led by junior midfielder Elizabeth Bernier (23 goals), sophomore forward Dante Lipfert (19 goals) and freshman midfielder Karis Eklund (21 goals). Seventh-seeded Cleveland, the third-place team in West Valley League counters with sophomore midfielder Brynne Blumstein (17 goals), freshman forward Modesta Salmeron (eight goals) and standout sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Bleimeyer.

FAST FACT: The contest is a rematch of the 1994 final, won by Hamilton, 3-0. The Cavaliers, then a first-year program, surrendered two second-half goals and managed only four shots.

GIRLS’ 4-A DIVISION

WHO TO WATCH: The top-seeded Chancellors boast young but talented forwards in sophomore Jackie Fodor (25 goals) and Shannon DeVos (six goals). Fodor shoots first and asks questions later, DeVos is a playmaker. Senior midfielders Beezy Preis (14 goals), Pamela George (seven goals) and Denise Paul are solid, and Ember Lee and Erica Frechman lead the defense. Third-seeded Granada Hills’ leading scorers are forward Sabrina Love (12 goals) and midfielder Ami Ghoniem (10 goals). Sweeper Amber Dattilo earned All-City honors last season and goalkeeper Morgan Tharp has nine shutouts.

FAST FACTS: Chatsworth’s only loss came in an intersectional match with Chaminade, a Southern Section Division III finalist. . . Chancellors George, Paul and Lee have played on the same teams since they were eight years old.

BOYS’ DIVISION

WHO: El Camino Real (20-3-6) vs. Belmont (16-2-3).

WHO TO WATCH: Seventeenth-seeded El Camino Real boasts four senior standouts: goalkeeper Phil Graham (10 shutouts), sweeper and four-year starter Mike Montgomery and forwards Gerardo Herrera (17 goals) and Jason Leonard (16 goals). Second-seeded Belmont shared the City title last season. Forward Rodolfo Duran (17 goals) leads the Sentinels.

FAST FACT: Belmont defeated El Camino Real, 2-0, in a preseason scrimmage.

Southern Section Soccer Championship

WHO TO WATCH: Third-seeded Chaminade is held together by intense midfielder Lia Cummins (eight goals, 10 assists). She is complemented by forwards Kerrie Clavadetscher (19 goals, eight assists) and Liz Buhn (13 goals, nine assists) and midfielder Amy Watts (11 goals). Goalkeeper Kim Nelli has 18 shutouts. Fourth-seeded El Modena, the defending Division II champion, is led by midfielder Jill Pearson (13 goals).
