Clipper update--They’ve won four of their last five games, including a 110-104 overtime victory over the Vancouver Grizzlies on Tuesday night at the Sports Arena. Guard Brent Barry sat out the game because of a back injury and is day to day. Forward Rodney Rogers, who averaged 15.7 points and six rebounds in the Clippers’ first 13 games this month, had 23 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as the Clippers swept the Grizzlies.

Hawk update--They’ve won 31 of 35 home games this season, including their last five. Steve Smith, who had 27 points in Tuesday’s 96-89 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, is averaging a team-high 19.6 points. Center Dikembe Mutombo is averaging 13.5 points, a team-high 11.9 rebounds and 3.31 blocks. Mutombo had eight blocks in a 112-96 victory over the Clippers on Jan. 28 at the Sports Arena, one shy of his season high.
