Two of the top boys’ volleyball teams...

Two of the top boys’ volleyball teams in the Southern Section will meet when Royal High plays host to Mira Costa tonight at 6:30.

The Highlanders (6-0) are ranked fifth in the Southern Section Division I poll and feature middle blocker hitter Ryan Denihan, opposite hitter Nick Flanagan, outside hitter Marc Chaffee and setter John Baxter.

Mira Costa (6-1), defending Division I champion, is ranked fourth.

Women’s tennis: At 1:30 p.m., Stanford at Pepperdine. At 2 p.m., Glendale at Cuesta.
