The Minnesota Twins, who did not have a runner after the fourth inning, have lost three in a row and are 2-5 on their current trip. Their latest loss was a 3-1 setback Tuesday night to Baltimore, even though the Orioles had three regulars on the bench.

Backup second baseman Jeff Reboulet homered and drove in two runs, reserve catcher Lenny Webster scored the game-winner and Scott Kamieniecki, who had won a game in a year, pitched five innings of two-hit ball as the Orioles extended their winning streak to five with a two-game sweep.

Reboulet, starting at second base for Roberto Alomar, drove in the go-ahead run in the fifth inning and hit a solo homer in the eighth, his first homer since Sept. 9, 1995. Alomar has a sprained left ankle.

“We’ve got a lot of good backup players and role players on this team,” Reboulet said. “I don’t think you can necessarily go out there with nine guys and a pitcher and expect to get the job done every night.”

Webster, playing for Chris Hoiles, helped three Oriole pitchers limit the Twins to two hits--none after the second inning.

Kamieniecki (1-0) allowed one run, walked four and struck out four to earn his first victory since last April 24. The right-hander missed most of last season because of an elbow injury.

Minnesota’s Scott Aldred (1-1) allowed three runs on five hits in seven-plus innings.
