The final ‘Family Matters’ on ABC; ‘Sabrina’ the Showtime Teenage witch; Mother’s Day ‘Rugrats’

It’s back to prehistoric times in The Land Before Time III: Time of the Great Giving (Disney Channel, Sunday at 7 p.m.), making its TV debut. The story has four young dinosaurs trying to figure out why their valley’s water supply is dwindling. For ages 5 to 10.

Fans of ABC’s Sabrina, The Teenage Witch (Sunday, 8 p.m.). can see the genesis of the series when Showtime repeats the movie that got it started. Melissa Joan Hart brings the spunky comic book character to life. For ages 8 to 15.

In a special Mother’s Day episode, Angelica, Tommy, Phil and Lil search for presents to give their moms in Rugrats (Nickelodeon, Tuesday at 8 p.m.). But Chuckie undertakes a more serious search: for his mother. For ages 4 to 8.

Urkel invents a time machine that transports him and Carl to an 18th century pirate ship in Family Matters (ABC, Friday at 8 p.m.), then they have trouble getting back. This is the last original broadcast of the series on ABC after eight seasons; it moves to CBS this fall. For the family.

Celebrities share the spotlight with their mothers one All Star Moms (CBS, Friday at 8 p.m.). The roster of stars scheduled to appear includes Gloria Estefan, Robin Williams, Jane Seymour, Shaquille O’Neal, Dwight Gooden and Mandy Patinkin. For the family.

Another Mother’s Day episode finds Damey Wayne contemplating the arrival of a younger sibling and then helping his mother when she goes into labor, on Waynehead (WB, Saturday at 10 a.m.). For ages 5 to 10.
