Now This Is the Way to Win Over the Fans

Share

Bravo, Roger Penske, for a wonderful race event this past weekend at the new California Speedway.

With my wife being in a wheelchair, we thought we’d have a tough time getting around the track and the grandstands. Not so. The track employees went out of their way to help us in every way they could, from helping us get our car parked, to getting us to our seat location. The only problem was that there is only one elevator for all the people who need help getting to their seats and there was a backup of people in wheelchairs trying to get down. What impressed us was that Mr. Penske came down and walked by each person waiting and apologized for the inconvenience. He did it in person and not later at some press conference. We thought that was real class.

Thanks again, and we will be coming back to enjoy more of his great place and spectacular racing.
