BULLFROGS TONIGHT
Opponent--San Jose Rhinos
Site--San Jose Arena
Time--7:30
Records--Bullfrogs 5-3, Rhinos 6-0-1
Bullfrog update--Winless on the road, the Bullfrogs face another stiff early season test. They blew a three-goal, first half lead Thursday and fell at St. Louis, 6-5. They remain three points behind front-running San Jose in the Western Conference. Todd Wetzel leads the team with nine goals. Like the Rhinos, the Bullfrogs have only given up 41 goals.
Rhino update--After stumbling badly at the end of the season and failing to make the playoffs, the 1995 Murphy Cup champions seem to be back on track. Winger Radek Hamr has led a potent offense that is averaging just under 10 goals per game. The teams meet again at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Pond.
