Completing a deal that began with discussions in training camp, Pro Bowl defensive tackle Bryant Young signed a six-year, $26-million contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers.
“I’m glad that it’s finally over and I can just concentrate on the season,” Young said.
Young, starting his fourth season, emerged as a dominating force last year, finishing seventh in the NFC with 11.5 sacks.
