When senior Dusty Herman of Nordhoff High and junior Lauren Fleshman of Canyon placed second in the boys’ and girls’ races of the West regional cross-country championships Saturday at Woodward Park in Fresno, they became the 19th boy and 14th girl from the region to advance to the national championships.
