I-5 Project Will Retire Crescent Ramp

Share

Starting late Christmas night, drivers wanting to get onto the northbound Santa Ana Freeway at Crescent Avenue should use either the Loara Street or La Palma Avenue onramps.

The Crescent Avenue onramp will close permanently beginning at 11:59 p.m. Thursday because of freeway improvements.

Motorists will benefit from new onramps and offramps at Euclid Street when the massive freeway improvement work is completed in 2000. The changes will make it easier to enter and exit the freeway at Euclid, Caltrans officials said.

Anaheim officials have said the Euclid Street ramp reconfiguration will improve access to the area and to Anaheim Plaza.

The $1.1-billion Interstate-5 North Improvement Project began last year and includes new carpool lanes and ramp improvements. Information: (714) 724-2077.
