In other Century Holiday Classic games:

Calvary Chapel 63, San Clemente 62--Brett Young, who scored 15 points, made three free throws in the final seven seconds to win it for Calvary Chapel (9-4), which trailed by nine points with two minutes remaining. Jeremy Ampe scored his only points on a three-pointer to cut San Clemente’s lead to six points. Joe Ortiz had 27 points, 11 rebounds and had eight assists for the Eagles.

No. 8 Los Alamitos 89, Los Amigos 46--Matt Komer scored 16 points for the Griffins (6-4), who led at halftime, 49-20.

John Valenzuela scored 10 of his 15 points in the first half for Los Amigos (3-8).

In the Brea Olinda tournament:

Norwalk 58, Whittier Christian 56--Jon Stoa made two free throws with 25 seconds remaining to give Whittier Christian a one-point lead, but Norwalk’s Steve Barragan made a three-pointer with 10 seconds left in the consolation game.

The Heralds (6-7) had one last chance when Matt Martinez tipped in Stoa’s miss at the buzzer, but time had expired. Stoa scored 28 points.

In the Canyon tournament:

Loara 72, Chino Don Lugo 55--Martin Banda scored 18 points and Herbert Gracia 16 as Loara improved to 10-2.

In the Daily Pilot Coast Classic:

Estancia 64, Corona del Mar 55 (2OT)--Estancia scored all its points in the two overtime periods on free throws, making 17 of 19. Estancia’s Peter Anderson was eight for nine from the line in overtime, and Brett Valbuena was seven for eight.

Three-point baskets by Ben Shaffer tied the score for Corona del Mar late in the fourth quarter and in the first overtime. Estancia (8-5) outscored Corona del Mar in the second overtime, 12-3.

In the Honolulu St. Louis tournament:

No. 4 Sonora 67, Honolulu Punahou 64--Deric Hillard scored 10 of his 17 points in the third quarter for Sonora. Marqui Worthy added 17 for the Raiders (10-2), who advanced to the semifinals.

In the Kentfield Marin Catholic tournament:

Servite 47, San Rafael Drake 46--Servite, which almost let a 15-point third-quarter lead slip away, managed to hang on when Drake’s last-second shot from 10 feet fell short. Rafael Zielonka scored 14 points and Evan Friedl had 10 for the Friars (8-3).

At the Las Vegas Prep Championship:

Woodbridge 69, Sacramento Del Campo 61--Charles Clark had 16 points and nine rebounds for Woodbridge in a second-round game. Gavin Clifford had 14 points and Shane Harris had 11 points for the Warriors (8-4).

In the Mountain View St. Frances tournament:

University 82, Palo Alto 75--University outscored Palo Alto in the second half, 52-32, to overcome a 13-point deficit. Eric Palmer’s three-pointer to open the fourth quarter put University ahead for good. Palmer scored 18 points and Larry and Chet Johnson each scored 14 for University (6-4). Palo Alto is 6-5.

In the Nike National Prep Classic:

No. 7 Ocean View 94, Las Vegas Bonanza 56--David Hatch had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Matt Kiemle had 12 points, nine coming on three-pointers, for Ocean View (8-2) in the second-round game.

In the Orange Holiday Classic:

Fountain Valley 69, Auburn (Wash.) 54--Fountain Valley made 27 of 29 free throws in the second-round victory. Ryan Moreau scored 26 points and Jeff Derr had 14 for the Barons (7-4).

No. 1 Santa Margarita 63, Laguna Hills 46--Ryan Forehan-Kelly scored 17 points as Santa Margarita advanced to Monday’s semifinals against Tustin. Teammate Dekker McKeever scored 12 points for the Eagles (11-0).
