Travel Firm Names Ronald Heuer President

Following closely on the heels of Pleasant Holidays’ announcement that it will enter the Tahiti market in September, the Westlake Village travel company has named Ronald H. Heuer president and chief operating officer of its wholesale travel division.
Brian Hogan, formerly president and chief operating officer, remains executive vice president of Pleasant Travel Service Inc., Pleasant Holidays’ parent company, and has been appointed president of Vacation Acceptance Co., the travel group’s vacation-financing program.
Heuer, who has more than 30 year’s experience in the travel and tourism industry, will oversee Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays, Pleasant Mexico Holidays and Pleasant Tahitian Holidays. He comes to the company from Universal Studios Florida, where he served as president of University City Travel Co. and senior vice president of travel product development.
Pleasant Travel Service Inc. was established in 1959 and has sent more than 4 million vacationers to Hawaii and Mexico. It is composed of numerous travel-related companies.
