Deputies Disarm Dry-Ice Bomb Near High School
Sheriff’s deputies found three exploded dry-ice bombs and disarmed a fourth late Monday near Norwalk’s Excelsior High School, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
Deputy Bob Killeen said a caller discovered the bombs about 6:15 p.m. in a field by Barnwall Street and Alburtis Avenue. Deputies from the arson unit rendered the unexploded bomb safe shortly after 7 p.m.
No one was arrested and the investigation was ongoing, Killeen said.
