For months the Tom Bradley International Terminal at the Los Angeles International Airport has been in disarray as construction workers labored to remodel the building, which opened in time for the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

On Wednesday, the five-level terminal was rededicated to showcase the airport’s $14-million update of the building, which has new restaurants and eating areas, new retail shops and additional seating.

Tom Bradley, mayor of Los Angeles from 1973 to 1993, and Mayor Richard Riordan attended the ceremony.
