Phoenix 69, Houston 64--Jennifer Gillom scored 20 points at Phoenix as the Mercury (5-2) took a 19-point halftime lead and held off the Comets for their third consecutive victory.
Houston (5-4) suffered its first loss to a team other than the New York Liberty. Phoenix avenged a 70-55 loss at Houston on June 24th.
