Divers Comb Depths for Drowning Victim

Divers from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department continued their search Saturday for a 15-year-old boy believed drowned off Oxnard State Beach.
A team of divers from the sheriff’s search and rescue unit scoured the murky ocean depths for Alex Cabrera, who disappeared shortly after noon Friday while swimming at the popular beach with two friends.
Oscar Tellez, 20, and his 16-year-old brother, Luis, made it to shore safely with the help of other beach goers.
Divers will continue their search today.
