A day after the anniversary of the crash of TWA Flight 800, coroner’s officials Friday positively identified seven more victims by matching DNA from their remains to genetic material found in their personal items or relatives’ blood samples.

Among those identified by the Suffolk County medical examiner was Gene Silverman, 54, a Bel-Air tax attorney, whose identification came in time to allow his relatives and friends to bury him alongside his wife and two daughters, who also died in the crash. Now, a family tombstone to be unveiled at a funeral service in Olney, Md., will include his name.

Two other Southern California victims, William Story, 51, of Newport Beach and Brent Richey, 26, of Van Nuys were also identified Friday. The other passengers named were Arthur Benjamin, a Philadelphia teacher, and his wife, Joan, a semiretired architect; Constance Charbonnier, of Northport, N.Y.; and Giuseppe Mercurio, 29, of Palo del Colle, Italy.
