2 Brothers Accused of Armed Carjacking
Two men, one wielding a knife and the other pointing a gun, threatened an Oxnard man and then took his car early Saturday morning, police said.
Authorities said the men accosted Tony Briones, 23, in the 5100 block of Saviers Road in Oxnard about 2:30 a.m.
When Briones ran from them, they took his car and drove a few blocks before abandoning it. Brothers Victor Aguiar, 24, and Gabriel Aguiar, 18, both of Oxnard, were identified by Briones and arrested without incident, police said.
Both suspects were held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
