Wizards Win Battle of Division Leaders

In a matchup of Major League Soccer division leaders, Mark Chung scored twice and Digital Takawira scored the decisive goal in the 49th minute as the Kansas City Wizards beat Washington D.C. United, 3-2, before an announced crowd of 10,149 on Saturday.

Preki had three assists for the Wizards (13-7), who took a 2-0 lead on Chung’s goals in the 11th and 15th minutes. United (13-6) tied the score on goals by John Harkes and Raul Diaz Arce in a two-minute span midway through the half.

The Western Division-leading Wizards are 5-0 against United in the two-year history of the league.
