Man Dies After His Truck Hits Trees
SANTA ANA —
A 53-year-old man from Los Angeles County died Monday when his pickup truck veered off a boulevard in Santa Ana and crashed into two trees, police said.
Jose Leyva of El Monte was driving west in the 3200 block of West MacArthur Boulevard when the accident occurred just before noon, Sgt. Jim Seleno said. He was pronounced dead at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center. His father, the only passenger, was not injured.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
