Kiddie Porn Collection Seized at Tustin Home

A massive collection of child pornography described by detectives as among “the worst, most disgusting” they’ve ever seen was seized by police at the home of a Tustin man, whose brother, a convicted high-risk sex offender, apparently provided the photographs, police said.

Kevin Williams, 32, was arrested at his Myrtle Street home after police found hundreds of photographs of children, many as young as 2 or 3, engaged in various sex acts with adults, detectives said.

“There were 7, 8 and 9-year-olds, toddlers and preschoolers, all in very explicit situations,” said Police Sgt. Brent Zicarelli. “I’ve seen a lot of stuff in my 20 years here, and this was absolutely gross.”

During the search last week, police found information indicating that Williams may have received the pornography from his brother, Craig Allen Williams, a 37-year-old, high-risk sex offender who lives in Santa Ana.

Police went to the elder brother’s home in the 2900 block of South Bradford Place and found more photographs as well as videos of young children in similar situations, Zicarelli said. Because they believe Craig Allen Williams duplicated or distributed the material, he was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of child pornography, police said. Kevin Williams was arrested on suspicion of a misdemeanor version of the same charge. Police gave no information on the occupations of either brother.

Zicarelli said much of the material appears to have come from the Internet, including short video clips of young children being sodomized by adults. The victims may never be identified because they could live anywhere, he said.

“It’s very difficult, virtually impossible, to try and figure that out,” Zicarelli said.

Craig Allen Williams was one of seven high-risk sex offenders identified by Santa Ana police this month under Megan’s Law, which allows officers to publicize the whereabouts of registered offenders. He pleaded guilty in 1988 to molesting a 3-year-old Westminster girl and was sentenced to three years in prison.
