Citizen of Year Will Be Named at Dinner
The 1996 Citizen of the Year will be announced Thursday at the 40th annual San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce Installation of Officers and Awards Dinner at the El Adobe de Capistrano Restaurant.
The finalists for the award include David Belardes, Collene Campbell, Tony Forster, Alice O’Leary, Janice Palermo, Rita Propersi, Mark Rush and Lee Buser. The winner will be chosen by a selection committee composed of past honorees Ken Friess, Pat and Bill Bathgate and Tom Facon.
The public is invited to attend the event, which starts at 6:30 p.m. with a reception followed by dinner, entertainment and the awards program.
Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple. Reservations are required. For more information, call the chamber at (714) 493-4700.
