Fasching Is First in Cycling Race

Wolfgang Fasching of Austria held onto the lead for the third consecutive day, but three-time champion Rob Kish moved up from third to second Tuesday as the riders reached Oklahoma in Race Across America.
Fasching passed through Chickasha, Okla., which is 1,749.34 miles into the race, at 3:20 p.m. Kish of Florida came through the same place 27 minutes later. Danny Chew of Pennsylvania, the defending champion, is in third.
The race started Thursday in Irvine and ends in Savannah, Ga.
