WILD-CARD RACES
Top three non-division-champion teams in each conference advance to playoffs as wild-card entries. First tie-breakers are head-to-head games, division records (for division teams), conference records, best win-loss-tie percentage in common games (minimum four), best net points in division games (for division teams) and best net points in conference games.
NFC
1. Minnesota: 8-3
2. Tampa Bay: 8-3
3. Washington: 6-5
4. Dallas: 6-5
5. Carolina: 5-6
AFC
1. Jacksonville: 8-3
2. Kansas City: 8-3
3. Miami: 6-4
4. New England: 6-5
5. Seattle: 6-5
6. Buffalo: 5-5
