Royal Doubles Up Ventura
David Radka, Royal High’s leading scorer, was scoreless in the first half but had two goals in the third quarter and the Highlanders beat Ventura, 10-5, in a Southern Section Division IV quarterfinal water polo game Wednesday at Ventura High.
Radka finished with three goals for third-seeded Royal (24-3), which won a section championship two years ago and lost in the final last year.
Chad Caldwell scored four goals for Ventura (16-10).
Royal will play Santa Barbara in the semifinals Saturday at a neutral site.
In other Division IV quarterfinal games:

San Luis Obispo 12, Agoura 9--Jeff Powers scored six goals and David Westberg had four for the Tigers (14-11) at San Luis Obispo.
Fourth-seeded Agoura had knocked off the Tigers, 10-7, in the San Luis Obispo tournament earlier in the season.
Elliott Hirsch scored four goals for the Chargers, Eugene Lai had three and Mitch Dexter two, while Joey Smither had seven saves.
Brandaan de Groot had 13 saves for San Luis Obispo.

Righetti 23, Buena 5--The Bulldogs fell to the top-seeded team for the second consecutive year, at Righetti.
Eric Nisbet scored two goals for Buena (16-11). The Bulldogs beat Righetti in the first round last year before losing to eventual champion Cabrillo in the quarterfinals.
