UC IRVINE (1-2) at NO. 16 UTAH (4-0), 6:30 p.m., KUCI-FM--No one expects Irvine to win and few expect the Anteaters to stay within sight of the Utes. Utah has a formidable front line. Michael Doleac, a 6-foot-11 senior center, sat out two games because of a sprained ankle before playing 19 minutes in an 89-50 victory over Loyola Marymount on Tuesday. Hanno Mottola, a 6-10 sophomore from Finland, averages 18.5 points to lead the Utes and was 10 for 10 from the field against Loyola Marymount. Irvine, which did not win its first--and only--game game until Jan. 23 last season, is coming off a 74-66 victory over Division II Chico State. But the Anteaters do not starting player taller than 6-7.
