Direct Debit Available for Water, Sewer Bills
Residents and businesses may now pay their water and sewer bills automatically from their checking or savings accounts, city officials said.
The service may also be used to pay the $40 annual subscription to the city paramedic program.
“We believe this is the future of billing,” said Kaye Fuentes, the accounting supervisor of the city Finance Department. “This will help us reduce the amount of paperwork and checks.”
Fuentes said that to begin paying by direct debit, residents and businesses only need to fill out an authorization form, available from the city by calling (626) 574-5473.
