Shaquille O’Neal had 34 points and nine rebounds in the Lakers’ 117-107 exhibition victory over Cleveland at Kansas City, Mo., Saturday night.
O’Neal, who was 15 of 17 from the floor, had 15 points in the second quarter and 17 in the third. Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel and Sean Rooks each added 11 points for the Lakers.
Wesley Person led the Cavaliers (4-1) with 19 points.
