Bronco Fullback Doubtful
Denver Bronco fullback Howard Griffith, the lead blocker for AFC rushing leader Terrell Davis, might sit out Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills because of a torn knee ligament.
Griffith, who tore the medial collateral ligament in his right knee Sept. 28, re-injured the knee in the third quarter of Sunday’s loss at Oakland.
Griffith hasn’t missed a start because of injury since 1995, but the two games in which he saw limited duty were the only games in which Davis has rushed for fewer than 100 yards this season.
