Volleyball/Setter

Sidoti, from La Habra High, not only runs Golden West’s offense but also provides solid defense. She had 58 assists, eight blocks and 17 digs in the final match as the Rustlers beat Saddleback in four games in the title match of the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions. It was the second consecutive year that Golden West, the state’s top-ranked team, has won the tournament.

* Saddleback, freshman. She was an all-tournament selection as Saddleback finished second at the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions.

Tramel Robinson

Santa Ana, Sophomore

Football/Running Back

Robinson, at 5 feet 8, doesn’t offer much of a target for tacklers. He slipped his way around Golden West defenders for 187 yards and four touchdowns in 21 carries as the Dons won, 56-14, Saturday. Robinson, from Foothill High, scored on runs of one, three, 18 and 20 yards. His long run was for 47 yards. He leads Orange County rushers with 487 yards in 96 carries.

* Fullerton, sophomore. Gained 180 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown as the Hornets beat Riverside, 21-16.
