* The Arizona Cardinals lost middle linebacker Eric Hill for at least a month when he broke his left fibula late in the game against Cincinnati.
* Houston Oiler strong safety Blaine Bishop broke his right forearm in a 24-21 victory over the Oakland Raiders, and Coach Jeff Fisher thinks he may be out “a couple of weeks. He’ll be able to play as soon as he can deal with the pain.”
* Seattle quarterback John Friesz will be out at least six weeks because of a broken right thumb.
