Limo With Hot Tub Makes Social Splash

Some limousines keep stretching and stretching.

One local ultimate stretch is a 40-foot-long Lincoln Town Car with an outdoor spa in the rear.

“Nothing can really beat that,” said Andy Wagner, owner of Ultimate Limousine in Anaheim, which offers the white super-stretch limo for $180 an hour.

Known as the “Jacuzzi limousine,” it has room for 18 passengers, and the hot tub can seat up to four people. It includes two sunroofs, four televisions, two cellular phones, a CD player, a VCR and two wet bars.

Wagner said people rent the $150,000 vehicle for one reason: “They love the attention.”

White Rose Limousines in Santa Ana also has a stretch on the extreme side: a 39 1/2-foot, custom white Lamborghini with an outdoor spa in the rear.

“It doesn’t get any better than that,” White Rose owner Leo Salas said.

The car, which has convertible or hardtop options, accommodates up to 12 passengers and includes two TVs, a VCR, a wet bar and a cellular phone.

The limo is used only for promotions--it appeared in a beer commercial in Mexico--but Salas said he plans to offer it soon to the public.

“Everybody is trying to outdo everybody,” Salas said. “If you have the biggest limo, they think you’re a big shot--either you have a lot of money or you’re paying a lot of money.”
