Spotlight: Iron Mountain to Expand With 2 Deals in State
Boston-based records-management company Iron Mountain Inc. bought one closely held California firm and agreed to acquire another for a total of $63 million, purchases that would expand its records- and software-code-storage businesses. It agreed to pay $45 million in cash and assumed debt for Records Retention/
FileSafe of Oakland. It also completed the acquisition of San Francisco-based Data Securities International Inc. for $18 million in cash, stock and assumed debt.
