2 Suspects Sought in Home-Invasion Heist

Share

Two robbers forced their way into a Northridge house Sunday and held a woman at gunpoint before fleeing with money, jewelry and stereo equipment, authorities said.

The robbery occurred about 7 p.m. in the 19400 block of Lassen Street. Two men wearing masks, one armed with a handgun, tied up a woman and ransacked the house, said Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Angela Grant. The woman was not injured and police did not disclose the amount taken.

LAPD Det. Ron Rawson of the Devonshire station said the crime was not linked to another home-invasion robbery that occurred last week in Chatsworth.

About 10:45 a.m. Friday, three men and a woman armed with handguns forced their way into a home in the 9500 block of Rudnick Avenue, Grant said.

They fled in a white Dodge Caravan, but it was unclear what was stolen and police did not provide any further information Monday.

They said the investigations into both cases are continuing.
