Playoff Networks Turn Triple Play
All three networks involved in postseason baseball coverage--Fox, NBC and ESPN--will share in covering the divisional playoff series that begin Tuesday and Wednesday.
Telecast times announced Wednesday are:
Tuesday--10 a.m., NL Central champion at Atlanta, ESPN; 1 p.m., NL West champion at Florida, ESPN; 5 p.m., Cleveland at New York, Fox.
Wednesday--10 a.m., NL Central champion at Atlanta, ESPN; 1 p.m., NL West champion at Florida, ESPN; 5 p.m., Baltimore at Seattle, NBC.
Thursday, Oct. 2--1 p.m., Baltimore at Seattle, ESPN; 5 p.m., Cleveland at New York, Fox.
Telecast times for other games during the first round will be announced later.
Fox will televise the American League Championship Series, and NBC will televise the National League Championship Series and the World Series.
