Long Beach Official Richard Hilde Named O.C.’s Assistant Treasurer
Richard Hilde, Long Beach’s city treasurer, will become assistant treasurer of Orange County on Monday.
Hilde, 59, was the top choice of 13 applicants, county Treasurer-Tax Collector John M.W. Moorlach said.
Hilde, Moorlach said, “has an extensive background in the five areas I’m responsible for: investment management, cash-flow management, accounting and financial reporting, debt issuance and retirement systems.”
Hilde is a 30-year resident of the Tustin and Santa Ana areas.
Officials did not disclose Hilde’s salary.
