Birmingham 34, Reseda 15--Birmingham’s Emmanuel Evans rushed for 185 yards in 21 carries and scored on runs of two, 21, four and three yards at Birmingham.
Reseda built a 9-0 lead midway through the first quarter, but Birmingham scored 34 consecutive points to take a 34-9 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Evans was the workhorse in the first half, rushing for 131 yards in 13 carries.
Birmingham’s Scott Doherty completed five of 14 passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. Doherty threw one interception.
Reseda’s Jeral Lewis rushed for 84 yards in nine carries and scored on a six-yard run in the fourth quarter.
